An individual files a claim that several high value items were stolen from their home.

Social Discovery completes a report looking for any mention of those high value items that were claimed to be stolen to prove the individual did in fact have those items, and also looking on selling sites (Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, eBay, etc.) to see if there is evidence of the individual selling those items.

Results

The search uncovers evidence of the claimant placing ads on Facebook Marketplace selling items that appear to be the ones she claimed to have been stolen from the home. The social media report helps to direct the client’s investigation.
